Influencer: Big Men Edition - Andre Chambers

Welcome to the world of a 59-year-old bear content creator who has carved out a distinct online niche for himself. This black bear beefcake is not your typical content creator, dabbling in everything from scandalous apparel to goofy videos and even offering serious advice on men's health issues on occasion.

This muscle-bound creator is well-known on platforms such as OnlyFans for his NSFW content that will leave you breathless. But don't be fooled by his playful demeanor; he's also an accomplished photographer who takes stunning photographs of the world around him.

Join us as we delve into the world of this multifaceted content creator and discover what distinguishes him in the online landscape.

I never planned on being a content creator … it sort of just happened. My husband was reviewing my accounts and said, “Look at your huge following. People like what you produce. You should be a content creator.” That’s how it all started.

I like to follow content creators like TikTok’s @DylanMulvaney and Instagram’s @JessKingNYC because they provide a voice for marginalized people that aren’t always understood by mainstream culture. And they’re both funny. I hope to inspire people who, like me, have felt invisible or misunderstood.

Most of my “ideas” occur naturally, though some have been suggested by friends and fans. The execution of the “idea” can take some time to plan, depending on its complexity.

LOL. That’s a loaded question. Curiosity! Wanting to see and experience the latest craze, FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), voyeurism … and most of all self-expression.

One of my fan favorites is my Easter bunny video. My favorite series is “Andre’s A Mess,” where I pour different things on me (i.e., milk, water, syrup and more). Collaborations are new for me. I have a few in the works, but that’s all I can say now.

I would like to travel and work with promoters of bear events worldwide to give viewers a sense of the diversity of our community. I am starting to do that locally with my Papa_Bear_RN (where RN stands for Real News) segments.

The biggest challenge is sticking with the commitment and the content formula. I have to know what needs to be posted each day, and at what time. Its not just a commitment to yourself, but also to your followers. If I skip a day, I hear about it. It’s a lot of work, but I love it!

I try to keep my topics fun, light-hearted, and relatable with positive messages. A positive interaction can change a person’s mental outlook for the day.

I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but I drink coffee, anyway. LOL. I do listen to constructive feedback. Ultimately, I focus on those things that work for me and leave the rest behind.

Because I’m a full-time registered nurse in a busy emergency room, I had to develop a content production schedule and follow it as closely as possible. But once I got the routine down, it wasn’t that bad.

I am currently working on a collaboration with Leather Daddy Skin Company they have some amazing products. I also have some exciting collaborations that I’m working on for my JustForFans and OnlyFans sites. I’m also about to release a website where people can purchase my photography.

I was 25 years old, dressed in full leather, and heading to the local gay bar. As I was walking out the door my mother said, “Are you gay?” I said yes. That was it. No fireworks, no tears … and no real acceptance. To this day my parents still do not completely understand what I’m all about.

I discovered the bear/leather community shortly after I came out. I was impressed with their camaraderie and acceptance. It was a group of men enjoying each other’s company with few judgements.

Being a “bear” is about being comfortable in your own skin. And it’s about empowering others in the community to celebrate who they are as individuals.

I learned to accept myself as I am. I don’t have to have the perfect body to be accepted. And it’s okay to be unique … as opposed to adhering to enforced norms. Life is easier if you are being your authentic self, instead of the person you think everyone else wants you to be.

First off, I go to these events with the intention of having a good time. Secondly, I walk in with a positive attitude. I say to myself, “I belong here, and I deserve to be here.” Leave preconceived notions at the door. If you walk in with a negative attitude, I guarantee you will only find negativity. Thirdly, don’t judge others without really knowing them. Be kind. You never know what demons others may be dealing with.

Get out and be seen! No one is going to eat the holiday ham if you don’t put it on the table. Lol. Take every opportunity by the horns and make it yours. I would have never been a leather title holder (Eagle LA Mr. Leather) or cast in multiple roles on the hit web series “Where the Bears Are” had I not seized the opportunity. The key is to accept yourself.

It took a long time for me to accept myself unconditionally. I stillhave difficult days. I make an active choice to start every day with a positive attitude. My trials and tribulations, successes and failures made me who I am today. I figure, I earned my happiness, why not share it?

Until ten years ago, I pretty much didn’t. My dating/sex life was a mess. In the past I suffered sexual abuse that still makes it difficult for me to form emotional and sexual attachments. I met Tom, my husband, ten years ago and he showed me what unconditional love was all about. I learned to trust again … slowly. It took a while, but I proposed to Tom in Hawaii in 2021, and we had an over-the-top Big Gay Wedding ceremony in 2022. It was a multi-media extravaganza patterned after a Hollywood movie premiere – complete with our own movie trailer, a velvet rope, walking down a red carpet … and some pretty outrageous outfits. Here’s the kicker … we first met on GROWLr, the bear hook-up app!

I live in Palm Springs California, one of the gay bear capitals of the world. Come with me to The Barracks Bar on a Sunday afternoon and you can create your own wild bear story.

Honestly, I don’t know

People assume all my friends must look and act like me. Actually, I have an extremely diverse group of friends (i.e., leather, drag, twink, bear, muscle, lesbian, and trans (to name a few) and I celebrate their uniqueness and diversity. The other misconception is that being publicly outgoing is easy for me. The truth is that I suffer from a lot of social anxiety. I appear to be self assured, but I have to keep repeating to myself: “I belong here, and I deserve to be here.”

Only three? Really? My musical tastes run the gambit, from classical to heavy metal, but here goes…

  • 80’s New Wave

  • 90’s Alternative

  • Motown

A spa day, facial, massage, and a mani/pedi (it’s a great way to detach and regroup). Followed by a nice dinner out with my amazing husband. After that? Maybe something a bit naughty (tee-hee). Subscribe to my JustForFans or OnlyFans and find out.

Photography! I am an avid landscape/macro photographer. My husband and I love to off-road in my Jeep to find exotic locations around our desert community. I will soon be launching a website where my work will be available for purchase

  • Idris Elba – who doesn’t?

  • Rob Zombie (director) – I’m a huge horror movie fan. Quite by happenstance, I recently sat next to him at a hockey game … and had hard time containing my excitement.

  • Jason Momoa – Aquaman is my all-time favorite superhero. So it’s no surprise that I have a crush on Jason Momoa. I have an Aquaman tattoo … and I even commissioned artwork depicting me as Aquaman.

Special Thanks
