Influencer: Big Men Edition - Pup Mufasa

People who like the world of BDSM and its various dimensions have grown increasingly prevalent in the kink community.

Some people become involved in the pup play subculture, which is described as but not limited to a type of BDSM role-playing in which people replicate adolescent canine behavior to get off.

to discover a new aspect of oneself

Even while the puppy community is becoming more well-known, there are still aspects of it that we, as outsiders, are unfamiliar with.

Fortunately for us, puppy Mufasa has pawed up to the plate and agreed to answer some of my and other inquisitive people's queries regarding the inner workings of puppy play.

I didn't discover the pup community. I just became part of it. A pup is in you from the day you were born and it's whether you're allowed to let it out. There was no conscious choice to join the community. I just automatically became part of it.

My pup name comes from my Husky named Mufasa and Mufasa gave that name to me. Mufasa’s name was given to him by my aunt

My name, it means the world it means the beginning and the end. There will not be another Mufasa like me. Others may take the name, but they don't get his soul.

Pup play to me is not sexual gratification. It is the releasing of all the tension of modern society. It is play without consequence. It is mental health.

Many times people believe that the pup community is all about sex. It’s not. Many pups never have sex with one another and they certainly don't have sex with their handlers. This does happen, but it is not about the pup community. It is about that specific relationship.

I'm looking for a good man who holds his animal at high esteem. A man that knows that this is a puppy and he's gonna make mistakes and as they get older the puppy doesn't go away. It just gets a little slower. I'm looking for one that wants to run with me. I'm looking for one that wants to cuddle and play and play fetch. It’s important.

This is an interesting question. In the kink community everybody has their own sign. Are they props or do they have a significant meaning? I don't believe that they’re props. I do believe that it allows us to show that we are puppies and makes it easier to identify us. The pup mask certainly makes it easier to identify us and the paws. There is a certain amount of bondage in pup community. You have to be able to trust the person that is going to put those paws on you and take them back off, trust is the ultimate here

Yes, I have seen a break in trust. I've experienced a break in trust. It doesn't necessarily have to be a physical action. It can be words. Words do hurt and I will step in. I will protect the puppy I have.

Don’t touch another puppy’s collar. Not only is it offensive, but how would you like somebody walking up and grabbing the jewelry around your neck. Don’t assume you can touch the puppy. There are service animals even in the human pup world.

I enjoy the freedom. I enjoy the peace for me. It allows me to let go of some of my past and not remember it for a short period. Some of the pups like myself go into headspace deeply and once in headspace the human person goes away. They’re gone. You can't call their name, they will not respond. That's called clear headspace, and when a puppy is in clear headspace, he's a puppy.

Ask questions. Find a Gray muzzle. Gray muzzles are puppies like myself, who’ve been around a long time. We may not take you on as an alpha, but will certainly steer you in the right direction. I don't need to take on every puppy out there, but I certainly enjoy sharing my space with them. A puppy is a puppy. A pile of puppies is still a pool, and by the way, that's what a pile of puppies is called: a pool. Why? 'Cause you can't count them.

Coming out? Which time? When my first boyfriend nailed me in a tent the Boy Scouts Or when I moved out of my home in love? Or when I told my ex wife it's over, we can't do this anymore. This is a charade? Everyone comes out in their own way and there's no right or wrong way. It is what it is.

I joined the Dallas bears looking for a group of like-minded people and found them. They like to eat. They like to party and they are generally good people and didn't make fun of each other because they were big.

First bear event was TBRU and I was a bartender in a very small pair of hot shorts and tennis shoes doing my best to extract funds for charity for the Dallas bears. I never considered myself a pretty bear but I tried. I never considered myself as the conventional term for bear but the next thing I knew I was Mr Austin leather bear

The bear community scene tends to be body positive. They deal with what they have. They also tend to be the most giving souls and truly try to help the community. The bear community accepts everybody as they are.

the bear community tends to have a chew them up and spit them out kind of mentality, as well as let me put others down to raise my esteem childish attitude, and i wish it would just go away

The bear community is changing every year. Chasers, chubs, cubs, puppies… You'll find that the bear community never stays the same for long. People want to lose weight. They do, but they never stop being a bear. There’s something about that lovable nature that just doesn't go away. See, a bear is usually a Mama bear, and trust me you never wanna get between a Mama bear and her Cubs.

Just a tad more common sense. The ability to see the forest for the trees for whatever reason. Many people can stare right at the subject and miss it altogether.

My ideal perfect day is to wake up to the ones I love naked is jay bird and comfortable. Some pup time, some cuddle time, some family time, and to fall asleep with no stress

Willy Wonka (the original), James Bond ( all of them), and Jason Bourne
